In the new song the rappers explore the themes of an unfaithful relationship with Cee rapping: ‘I ain’t learn my lesson’ while Spice raps: ‘If he cheatin’ I’m doin him worse.’
Spice, 24, and Cee, 26, go on to share their secrets for getting away with cheating in a relationship.
‘He beg me to stay, but I’m dippin’/I don’t even drink, but I’m sippin’/We not f**kin’, but he put the tip in (Grrah)/He get on my nerves, but I’m with it.’
‘Cee raps back: ‘Gyal on my phone tryna see who I slept with/She investigating, detective/Lucky for me, I deleted the message,’ before she launches into the chorus.
‘No, I hit the reverse/I ain’t trippin’, the grip in my purse/I don’t care, ’cause he did it first.’
Did It First is on the Princess Diana rapper’s upcoming debut album Y2K! alongside her recent hits Think U The Sh*t (Fart), Gimmie A Light and Phat ʙuтт.
She previously told the Today Show that Y2K! was named after the year she was born. In fact, the Bronx-born singer was born on January 1, 2000.
Y2K! drops on July 26.
Ice’s highly anticipated debut album comes a year and a half since she burst onto the scene with her first EP, Like…?, in January 2023.
When asked what her rapid ascent feels like, the Munch rapper answered: ‘Fun.’
‘I always try to remember to have fun,’ the rapper told Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager on the Today Show earlier this year.
‘The second I stop having fun while recording, I need to just close the session and come back to it later. I don’t really think, “How am I going to get people to come into my store?’ consciously, but I probably do without even realizing it,’ she said.
‘I always had a pᴀssion for music and I feel like whatever people are pᴀssionate in, they’re going to end up doing something along those lines,’ the Barbie World singer said.
