Cardi B took command of the stage at the BET Experience in Los Angeles on Friday night.
The I Like It singer, 31, wore a leather sequined black and silver #11 jersey which she paired with coordinating black leather micro shorts and rhinestone studded platform Prada boots.
The Bongos rapper – who recently showed off one of her rare Hermes handbags –performed a selection of her hit songs including Press, Money and No Limit and the audience loved it.
The singer, however, did not and addressed the technical crew of Crypto.com arena mid set over some problems on stage.
‘For production, y’all messing up my pyros, the fans is off, y’all messing up my music. ҒUCҜ am I paying y’all p***y n***as for?’ said Cardi, 31. ‘What am I paying y’all n***as for? Put my f***ing fan on, b***h. Let’s go.’
Cardi B shared the stage at the Downtown Los Angeles venue with Gunna, Davido, Sєxyy Red and Jordan Ward.
One person took issue with the Bronx-born rapper’s rant and took to X (formerly Twitter) to air their grievances.
‘I understand that people have families to feed, but I wished we lived in a better world because no one should ever be disrespected like this in a workplace environment/at all, the fan wrote.
‘This principle isn’t exclusive to less glamorous positions. Celebrities included,’ they continued.
The tweet was brought to the attention of the WAP singer who fired back a heated reply.
‘Girl shut up.. when you do a show you don’t pay after you pay before,’ she wrote.
‘I paid 350,000 up front the least they could do is get my pyro ready and turn the fans on because guess what??? At the end of the day that money is not returnable…,’ the Bodak Yellow hitmaker wrote.
‘Don’t half a** my show because you comfortable when I definitely don’t half a** when it comes to paying.. don’t tell me how to talk to anybody when you the same h* talkin bout my kids and other deceased parents,’ she continued.
