Bella Hadid is the ultimate poster girl for vintage, with her vast collection ranging from rare Jean Paul Gaultier to ’80s Chanel. So it’s no surprise that the model opted for yet another archival piece while attending an event for non-alcoholic drinks company Kin Euphorics over the weekend.
Sourced from Treasures Of NYC, Hadid wore a printed Roberto Cavalli dress in H๏τ pink, featuring a corseted bodice and handkerchief hem – a familiar staple of the early Noughties. Adding a modern twist on the look, she matched Cavalli’s rose print motif with Loewe’s cult rose heels from spring/summer 2022.
It’s not the first time that Hadid has stepped out in vintage Cavalli, which has been enjoying something of a revival of late thanks to its Y2K-friendly prints and slinky silhouettes. The model opted for a red cut-out gown from the brand’s spring/summer 2005 collection at Cannes Film Festival in 2019, and wore an archival Cavalli number while attending best friend Lauren Perez’s wedding last year (specifically, a feather-printed gown from the designer’s autumn/winter 2001 collection).
Hadid’s latest vintage Cavalli piece isn’t her only archival look from the weekend, with the model later stepping out in a pink gingham dress from Comme des Garçons’s spring/summer 1997 collection, this time sourced from Aralda Vintage. If you’re in need of some vintage inspiration this summer, then look no further than Bella.
