And Katy Perry sure looked the part in a quirky rainbow suit as she arrived for the American Idol auditions in Hollywood on Wednesday.

Teamed with  bright blue high-waisted trousers, the striped jacket featured layers of eye-catching color.

Katy looked ready and raring to get to work on the show, as well she might.

After all, it’s partially thanks to her headliner role on Idol that she has been named the highest paid woman in music in 2018 by Forbes.

The Roar hitmaker topped the business publication’s annual list with earnings of $83million before tax over the 12 months from June to June.

While the 80 dates of her huge Witness world tour contributed the bulk of the cash receipts, her role on the Idol judging panel reportedly netted her a further $20million.

The numbers are calculated using pre-tax earnings from 1 June 2017, through 1 June 2018, before deducting fees for agents, managers, lawyers and estate executors.

Earlier this month Katy helped to raise $1 million for the victims of the recent Woolsey Fire that affected thousands of residents in Malibu that lost their homes in the blaze.

The songstress performed at a fundraising concert called One Love Malibu alongside other stars such as Alanis Morissette, Robin Thicke, Macy Gray, Natasha Bedingfield and Gwen Stefani.

In the auction, Perry bid $50,000 for a date with her beau Orlando Bloom, with the proceeds earmarked toward the victims.

MalibuFoundation.org will receive the proceeds, with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Malibu set to distribute the monies.

The ᴅᴇᴀᴅly fire raged on for more than two weeks, left three people ᴅᴇᴀᴅ and burned around 1,500 buildings and almost 100,000 acres.

The blazes impacted the celebrity community of the well-heeled beach town, as Thicke, reality star Camille Grammer, and actors Liam Hemsworth and Gerard Butler suffered significant damage to their properties in the area.
