Megan Thee Stallion, Patricia Arquette, and Busy Philipps lead the pro-choice glamour at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s Spring Into Action Gala – which was held at Cipriani South Street in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday.
Individual tickets were sold out and tables cost between $10K and $250K for the 107-year-old non-profit organization’s benefit lead by president Wendy Stark, who honored the 29-year-old hip-hop star.
Planned Parenthood has been under attack by Republican lawmakers ever since Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court in 2022.
Justices Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh all declared Roe v. Wade was ‘precedent’ and ‘settled law’ while under oath during their confirmation hearings, but then promptly overturned it with Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas.
‘Now, y’all know it wouldn’t be me if I didn’t take a second to call out these stupid-a** men,’ Megan said during her Glastonbury Festival set in 2022.
‘I mean, God damn. What else you want? Texas really embarrᴀssing me right now, y’all know that’s my home state. And I want to have it on the record that the motherf***ing H๏τ girls and the H๏τ boys do not support this bulls*** that y’all campaigning for. My body, my motherf***ing choice!’
It’s been one week since the Arizona Supreme Court upheld a long-dormant 1864 law (pre-dating its statehood) which bans nearly all abortions and threatens doctors with a two to five-year prison sentence for performing the procedure unless it’s necessary to save her life.
In August 2022, Kansas voters rejected and defeated the anti-abortion Value Them Both Amendment and, just three months later, Ohio voters overwhelmingly approved an amendment enshrining abortion rights in the state consтιтution.

Stallion – who gets 24.2M monthly listeners on Spotify – has already sold out 13 concerts of her 34-date H๏τ Girl Summer Tour, which kicks off May 14 at Target Center in Minneapolis, MN alongside opening act Glorilla.
Also being honored at the Planned Parenthood gala was Patricia, who took to the podium to deliver an acceptance speech.
