Katy Perry seemed to have taken some fashion inspiration from none other than Amanda Holden as she rocked a captivating yellow dress.

The California Girls singer, 37, is a judge for American Idol and showed up to watch a night of talent wearing a bright yellow ensemble with cutout details by the collar bone as well as her leg and hip.

Her stunning dress is designed by Georgian fashion designer David Koma and retails for £1,320.

Eagle-eyed fans might think they have seen that same exact dress on someone else and they are completely correct.

Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda had all eyes on her when she made a red carpet appearance in the David Koma dress in January.

The star posed for the cameras at the London Palladium theatre as she and her co-judges prepared for the return of the show after two years of disruptions.

Both stars wore the dress for a compeтιтion show and both looked otherwordly in them.

Katy was clearly feeling herself and shared a few snaps of her outfit on her Instagram page.

” bts lookin like a baby chick on#americanidolrn,” she captioned the post.

Amanda also shared her look at the time and captioned her pH๏τos: ” We are back!! Filming @bgt. Reunited with my tv family.”

The stunning judge is known for her bright and risqué outfits and recently vowed to continue wearing revealing outfits on the show.

In each series, the 51-year-old’s skimpy dresses are one of the biggest talking points, not least as some viewers deem them too risqué for a family show.

But Amanda has vowed to keep her wardrobe racy for the 15th year of the ITV hit, which recently returned to screens.

She says: “I am thinking more rubber. I enjoyed wearing latex in the audition, and I am thinking more latex in their lives. More latex, and more sweating.”

However, it was the Julien Macdonald creation she wore in 2017, with its neckline plunging all the way down to her navel, that sparked the biggest fan frenzy with Ofcom receiving 663 complaints about it.

Despite the controversy, Amanda has never been censored by either Ofcom or ITV.

A source said: “There has never been any diktat from above about what she can or can’t wear.”
