Olivia Culpo and Montce have joined forces on a swimwear capsule. The 2012 Miss USA winner and Miami-based swimsuit brand launched a collaborative collection on Monday, which is available online and in stores.
Designs in the collection, worn by Culpo in the new campaign, include a black terry rib two-piece, a cream terry rib two-piece, and a swimsuit in light denim material.
“I’ve been a long time fan of Montce,” Culpo told WWD. “I discovered the brand years ago and immediately fell in love with the fit of their pieces. It’s a family-owned business, which I love, and we had a great time collaborating together.”
The forthcoming capsule features swimwear and a range of everyday pieces, including slip dresses, tennis skirts, ʙuттon-downs and retro corset tops. Culpo and Montce’s collaboration is designed with casualwear in mind. Pieces in the collection are curated and styled for maximum versatility.
“The fit of Montce’s swimwear is what truly sets them apart,” Culpo said. “I tried to stick with their classic silhouettes for this collection. I took a look at some of Montce’s best selling fits and chose a timeless color palette I think every girl will feel beautiful in.”
Culpo said the cabana bows ʙικιɴι is among her favorite styles in the collection, adding, “the little cap sleeve is so flattering.”
Culpo has collaborated with other fashion brands in the past. In 2019, she worked with Express for her own collection, which debuted in 300 stores.
Swimwear designs by Montce have been worn by Jennifer Lopez, Kendall Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, Priyanka Chopra and Chrissy Teigen.
Alexandra Grief began working on what would become the Montce swimwear line in 2009, designing items from her own apartment. In 2013, Grief opened her first store in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The company now has a second store location in the Miami Design District. Montce’s designs were featured at the Miami 2021 Swim Week
