Rita Ora cut a glamorous figure as she appeared as a guest on The One Show at the BBC’s Broadcasting House in London on Thursday.
The pop star, 32, appeared on the BBC show alongside Stephen Fry, 66, who used his time to quiz Rita on what the Met Gala actually is.
Seemingly unaware of the fundraising purpose, Stephen nodded along when the singing sensation was asked about what really happens at the star-studded event.
As Rita confessed to show hosts Roman Kemp and Alex Jones that Met Gala red carpet is ‘one of the scariest’, Stephen clarified with the star that she was discussing the New York museum.
He then asked about her preparation for the event, to which she replied, ‘ Oh, it takes a couple of months.’
After Stephen gasped at her answer, Rita quipped: ‘Well, there is a theme, Stephen. So there is a theme and you have to speak about the theme or designer that you get appointed with then you have to make your own version of the theme.
‘It is sort of your idea of what that [the theme] is and you don’t have any guidelines in that aspect and then you just present it on probably one of the scariest red carpets there is’
In awe, Stephen agreed, ‘It must be,’ appearing shocked by the level of preparation that goes into the event.
Rita dazzled on Thursday’s episode as she wore plunging black Rebecca Vallance Elaine mini dress, worth around £700.
The garment was cut from crepe with a deep curved neckline and a fitted silhouette that hugged her gorgeous curves.
The mini hemline was decorated with paillettes and crystals – matching her accessories to the sparkling embellishments.
Rita was the epitome of chic as she layered a pair of sheer black тιԍнтs underneath and slipped on some black leather stilettoes.
To keep herself warm in the UK spring, she also carried a trendy black leather jacket.
Rita quipped: ‘Well, there is a theme, Stephen. She accessorised with a simple gold necklace and two large chunky gold bangles.
Rita appeared on the show to discuss her latest release, Ask & You Shall Receive.
