Jennifer Lopez is a proud business owner — and she’s dressing the part!
The musician and actress, who unveiled her line of ready-to-drink cocktails Delola in April 2023, is now revealing the brand’s newest flavor: Light Margarita.
In an Instagram video posted on May 29, Lopez, 54, shared the exciting news all while wearing a Sєxy two-piece green ensemble to match the new beverage. With a high-cut slit and a crisscrossed top, she bore her abs in the stunning outfit.
“Introducing @Delola Light Margarita 💚” she captioned the post.
According to a press release, the Delola Light Margarita Cocktail is a “lower in calorie twist on the classic Margarita cocktail, crafted with premium tequila and triple citrus.” It only contains 125 calories per serving and contains 12.5% ABV. The embossed bottle is sold in two sizes: 750ml for $20 and 375ml for $11.
“I think it’s the perfect ready-to-enjoy version of the most popular cocktail!” Lopez said in a statement. “Whether you’re bringing a bottle to a BBQ during the warmer months or entertaining and gifting for get-togethers, the convenience and elegance of Delola Cocktails frees you up so you have more time to spend with friends and family.”
When Delola entered the market in 2023, PEOPLE spoke with Lopez about her new business venture — and what it felt like to break into the food and beverage industry.
“I think as I’ve kind of gotten to be less of a workaholic and enjoy life a little bit more…it was something that I really, really wanted to do,” she said of Delola.
The three original, ready-to-drink spritzes each contain a different spirit. The Bella Berry is made with vodka, the Paloma Rosa has tequila and the L’orange features an amaro base.
The name of the brand is one super fans may recognize — “Lola” is her nickname among close friends.
“I love to entertain. I love throwing parties at my house. I’m always the first one on the dance floor at all of the industry events and at times, on vacation, dancing on the table. That is kind of who Lola is,” she said at the time.
Delola means “from Lola” in Spanish, so “the way we came up with the name for Delola was really about being the carefree, fun side of who I am,” she added.
