Rihanna is putting the beauty in Fenty Beauty with her latest look!
On Friday, April 26, the Grammy winner and Fenty Beauty founder stepped out to a product launch event for her brand’s latest Soft’lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation.
The 36-year-old star wore a chic pale yellow dress to match the carpet (and backdrop) at her 7th Street Studios event in Los Angeles. She also paired the look with a sleek new take on her blonde hair, which she showed off just days earlier at a Fenty x Puma event in London.
Rihanna topped off her strapless fitted dress with strappy stiletto heels and a collection of gold bracelets on her wrist.
Rihanna’s latest foundation, which she posted about on Instagram ahead of the event, is “packed with skin-loving ingredients,” she wrote at the time. The product, she added, also comes “in all 50 shades.” Now available on the Fenty Beauty website, the Soft’lit Naturally Luminous Longwear Foundation costs $40.
While appearing at another event in London on April 17 to celebrate the release of the latest Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty colorways, Rihanna gave fans a glimpse of a new blonde hair color that was even lighter than the style she wore to Coachella just a few days prior.
At the event, she opened up about past style regrets, revealing to British Vogue what she considered to be her favorite looks and which ones give her the “ick.”
“It’s gonna sound hypocritical because I did so much s— in my life. I had my nipples out, I had my panties out…” she said. “But now those are the things that as a mom, an evolved young lady — emphasis on young — things that I just feel like I would never do. I’m like, ‘Oh my god, I really did that? Nips out?’ ”
The musician previously wore a very racy custom Adam Selman design featuring a fishnet dress, gloves and headscarf with more than 216,000 Swarovski crystals.
One of her least-favorite looks, she told the outlet, was a “brown, tan suit” that she felt was “giving UPS driver” once she put it on.
Rihanna also revealed to Entertainment Tonight at the same event that she uses her partner, A$AP Rocky, as style inspiration for her sons, RZA, 23 months, and Riot, 7 months.
“When I dress them, I always try to dress them like Rocky,” she said. “I always envision dressing a girl, right? We all do as women, like, ‘Oh, I’m going to dress her in these cute little things,’ but then you get sons and you’re like, ‘What do I do?’ and I was like, ‘You know what, I have the biggest hack — their dad.’ “
