SUPER-broody Katy Perry has fuelled baby rumours by telling pals ‘this is my last night of freedom’ before partying hard at a backstage bash.

Mrs Russell Brand, 27, already had tongues wagging by planning to take a full 12 months off when her tour ends later this year.

But at the American Music Awards in LA on Sunday she sent rumours into overdrive telling pals Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez: “This is my last night of freedom before I settle down. Let’s make it a good one.”

The California Gurls singer has never hidden her baby dreams, saying recently: “I would love to have children. That’s one of the reasons you get married.

“If it doesn’t hurt the first time, I’ll keep popping them out.”

And, with Russell in Boston, she got some babysitting practice looking after Justin Bieber and Will Smith’s son Jaden at the awards.

Then the party started.

Popping gum with the girls, AMA winner Katy danced on the banquettes to tunes from Michael Jackson and New Edition while across the room J-Lo canoodled with Casper Smart.

At midnight, four toned hunks carried in a giant replica AMA statuette as the DJ blasted out a J-Lo hit and scantily clad go-go dancers strutted through the crowd.

But while Katy had a blast poor Russ, 36 was left to deal with insults as he worked a comedy crowd.

“There’s been a lot of talk of my beautiful wife this evening. She’s amazing, of course,” he said.

“Someone follows us on Twitter. They really love Katy and f****** hate me. They send us tweets. I’d like to read them so you can see the suffering that I’m privately enduring.

“Listen to this. Username: LoveYouKatyP. Fine name: F***YouRBrand. A very hurtful name.”
