Jennifer Lopez flaunted her figure in an eye-catching ensemble as she attended the launch of her silky intimates collection for the lingerie brand, Intimissimi, in NYC on Sunday.
The On The Floor songstress, 54 – who recently enjoyed a lunch date with Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso – stopped by the flagship store located in Midtown Manhattan to help celebrate the launch.
The latest collection is described as: ‘Elevate your everyday basics, crafted with a blend of luxurious ultralight microfiber that feels like silk,’ per the official website.
During the festivities, Lopez put on a leggy display in a figure-hugging, pink minidress that was made of a sparkling, sequin material. A darker, pink trim could be seen around the neckline of the outfit.
She slipped into a pair of closed-toed, pink pumps to coincide with the overall color scheme of her look.
Her long locks were parted in the middle, and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in elegant waves.
The star opted for a pair of hooped earrings, but chose to not add any other pieces of flashy jewelry.
Jennifer’s makeup was glammed up for the event, and comprised of a layer of mascara to her lashes as well as a shimmering shadow around her eyes.
A warm blush and contour was added to better accentuate her cheekbones, while a glossy, ɴuᴅᴇ-colored tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch.
The Marry Me actress was spotted standing in front of a wall inside the store that had various pieces from the collection presented on hangers.
Some items in the new campaign include Seamless Microfiber bottoms, which are currently priced at $15, as well as a $59 Balconette Bra in Ultralight Microfiber.
In the collection, pieces are also available in an ᴀssortment of neutral tones, such as Latte, Mocha, Black, Honey and Toffee.
Earlier this week on Monday, she showed off her fantastic figure in a new campaign for the silky intimates.
‘It feels like silk but is made of this incredibly durable fabric that molds to your body like a second skin,’ said the wife of Ben Affleck.
‘I always look for quality fabrications and superior comfortable fit,’ added the singer. ‘Intimissimi’s New Silky Intimates is a perfect collection – it’s classic in style and the fabrics are luxe.’
‘It’s so important to feel comfortable and empowered in the pieces that are closest to your skin, and this collection does just that…And as always it’s absolutely gorgeous.’
‘Designed in Italy and hand-crafted by lingerie artisans, these lightweight undergarments redefine comfort and style for everyday wear,’ said a press release. The campaign is all about ’empowerment,’ the company shared.
Lopez is no stranger to working with the Italian lingerie company, and has been a brand ambᴀssador for two years and also collaborated with Intimissimi last fall to drop her This Is Me… Now collection.
At the time, the star informed Elle, ‘I guess what I really focus on more now also is what I feel good in and what I want to wear.’
‘I wear these pieces for me to feel good, and I want everybody else to feel good about who they are when they put it on too.’
She continued, ‘To love themselves for exactly who they are because everyone is beautiful when you are confident and embrace who you are.’
When asked if she has a personal ‘approach’ when it comes to choosing lingerie for occasions such as date night with husband Ben Affleck, Jennifer explained that she doesn’t have one.
‘He loves me for who I am, and so the more authentic I can be to myself I’ve noticed the more I feel his love.’
‘I dress for my own confidence and for what makes me feel good and that radiates when I love how I feel and what I put on my body. It’s that energy that makes people gravitate towards you, not the outfit specifically,’ the performer added to the outlet.
Jennifer has been enjoying her time in the Big Apple and earlier on Saturday, she stepped out to catch the Broadway musical, Cabaret, at the Kit Kat Club.
She stunned in a fitted, white dress that clung to her frame and fell down past her knees. The star layered the ensemble with a long, white coat and slipped into a pair of sleek, tan heels.
Lopez easily carried a two-toned, Hermes purse in her hand to hold a few items she needed during the nighttime outing.
Late last year in December, it was revealed that the singer was cast in the upcoming musical film adaptation of the 1993 Broadway musical тιтled Kiss Of The Spider Woman, per Variety.
The project will be written and directed by Bill Condon – who is known for working on other films such as Dreamgirls (2006).
Along with Jennifer, other stars that have been cast in the adaptation thus far include Diego Luna and also Promised Land actor, Tonatiuh.
The singer has also been preparing for her upcoming tour which was recently rebranded amid low ticket sales as well as several dates being cancelled.
The tour – which is her first nationwide tour in five years – was originally slated to be in support of her This Is Me…Now album which officially dropped on February 16.
Upon the release of Lopez’s ninth studio album, it landed at the number 38 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
Earlier this month, the tour was renamed to This Is Me…Live and will be geared towards the star performing her greatest hits rather than solely focused on her This Is Me…Now album, according to Variety.
While talking to Entertainment Tonight earlier this year, Jennifer revealed to the outlet that she felt ‘fulfilled’ with the album and hinted that it may possibly also be her last.
‘We try to do stuff that’s very special for the fans and do collector’s items and things like that that they can have forever and ever,’ she said of the LP.
‘The truth is I don’t even know if I’ll ever make another album after this,’ the performer then admitted.
‘It’s such the kind of quintessential kind of Jennifer Lopez J.Lo project and I really feel very fulfilled, so they really will be collector’s items at a certain point.’
She added, ‘I feel like it’s the end of a kind of an era for me and the beginning of a new one, so I would never say never, but right now I feel like I really put my heart and soul into this and I’m very excited and it definitely took a lot out of me.’
