Ahead of her wedding to long-term partner Orlando, 42, the musician revealed to Extra they’ll tie the knot in an intimate ceremony.

During the interview, Katy’s fellow American Idol judge Luke Bryan joked about whether he’s invited to the H๏τly-anticipated ceremony.

He said: ‘We’re trying to get an invite to the wedding. I’ve been jogging to the mailbox every day. Must be a private ceremony!’

Katy and Orlando’s appearance comes amid claims the couple are keeping thing at a slow pace when it comes to planning their wedding.

The duo got engaged on Valentine’s Day after three years of an on again, off again relationship.

‘Their past weddings were, of course, very different,’ said a source close to the actor. ‘They are trying to find a middle ground now. Orlando always shied away from anything flashy. He doesn’t want a huge, celebrity wedding.

‘But they also have many friends that are important to them. They are still figuring out the details. Katy will work with a planner.’

Orlando and Miranda, who is currently expecting her third child with husband Evan Spiegel, share custody of eight-year-old son, Flynn.

Since the engagement, the engaged couple have been living together in Katy’s palatial residence in Los Angeles.
