She cried on stage during her Shanghai concert on Wednesday after her fans were forcefully removed by Chinese security guards for apparently waving LGBT flags.
But Dua Lipa was all smiles as she strutted across the stage during day three of the 2018 Singapore Formula One Grand Prix at Marina Bay Street Circuit on Sunday.
The singer, 23, looked incredible in an appropriately themed crop top in the style of a black and white checkered racing flag.
The brunette beauty teamed her scant top with a pair of baggy baby blue tracksuit bottoms and white running shoes.
Despite already being a statuesque beauty, Dua boosted her height in the pair of raised trainers.
Showing off her toned abs, the IDGAF hit maker finished off her ensemble with a cute, golden love heart necklace.
Dua highlighted her fresh-faced glow with smokey cosmetics, and drew attention to her piercing eyes with lashings of mascara.
The pop star kept her glossy black bob flowing freely as she danced around the stage during her energetic performance.
Dua’s performance comes after she ended up in tears during her Shanghai concert on Wednesday evening following reports that a large number of fans were ejected by Chinese security guards.
They were apparently removed for waving rainbow flags and simply standing up, witnesses told MailOnline.
Faced with the calamity, the pop singer was so upset she appeared to cry as she consoled her fans from the stage.
A video circulating on Twitter showed Dua addressing her fans and saying: ‘I want to create a really safe environment for us all to have fun.
‘I want us all to dance. I want us all to sing, I want us all to just have a really good time.
‘We’re not here for much longer, we have only a few more songs, and I would love in these last few songs for us to really, really, really enjoy ourselves. How about that?’
Later, in an Instagram post, the star said she was ‘horrified’ by the incident, and expressed her love for her ‘brave’ fans.
Dua, who had her first tour to China this week, wrote: ‘I will stand by you all for your love and beliefs and I am proud and grateful that you felt safe enough to show your pride at my show.’
The singer has openly supported the LGBT community in her music video Blow Your Mind, but to the Chinese authority gay rights remain a taboo topic.
MailOnline contacted the organiser of the singer’s China tour for comments.
