Camila Cabello had legs for days Thursday, during her latest public appearance plugging her brand new single I LUV IT.
The 27-year-old pop act, who rose to fame as part of the girl group Fifth Harmony, released I LUV IT as a duet with rapper Playboy Carti.
During one of the song’s verses, she croons about being ‘super-twisted’ and ‘sick’ over a love affair that has left her ‘addicted.’
In keeping with the sultry tone of the number, Camila was the image of the Hollywood pinup when she swung by SiriusXM Studios for an interview Thursday.
She modeled a slinky little pinstriped vest-dress that allowed her to show off her shapely pins, which she emphasized with long black leather boots.
The Havana hitmaker wore a sumptuous platinum blonde hairdo that cascaded extravagantly down her front as she posed for the pH๏τographers.
I LUV IT was dropped this week as the lead single from C, XOXO, which will be the fourth studio album Camila releases as a solo artist.
In the new song, she sings to a lover: ‘Kiss me hard – someday, you’ll miss this meteor shower in your power, seein’ stars, oh my God….’
Camila has released a statement accompanying the single, shedding light on how the turbulence in her own love life bled into the lyrics.
‘Certain things in our human realm do make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times where I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them,’ the Cinderella actress spilled.
‘Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and ʙuттerflies and nerves and pᴀssion,’ she confessed. ‘It’s unsustainable and not peaceful and exhausting, but also, I LUV IT.’
Last year, Camila hit the headlines for rekindling her public relationship with Shawn Mendes – only for news to leak of their breakup six weeks later.
Shawn and Camila originally went public over the summer of 2019 and stayed together through the COVID-19 lockdowns only to split near the end of 2021.
However by last April, rumors were swirling that they were back together – and confirmation came when they were glimpsed kissing at Coachella.
