She admitted this week that she has ‘given up’ caring what people think about her unique style.
And Katy Perry has certainly risen above the haters and maintained her typically quirky display in the promo sH๏τs for her new single Chained To The Rhythm.
The pop star, 32, looked both striking and stunning in the new pH๏τos, released on Friday, as she clad herself in a bold pastel pink suit and playful pineapple-printed tie.

The blonde was sure to maintain her personal, quirky style as she first posed in a bright trouser suit of bubblegum pink satin.
Rocking a traditionally clean-cut blazer and tailored trousers, the H๏τ N Cold songstress then made the look even more unique by layering a matching fur stole on top.
Keeping completely co-ordinated she accessorised with a satin ribbon tie, which she stylishly secured into a choker as she posed fiercely with a hip cocked for the sH๏τ.
Showing off several sides to her style, the singer then changed into a feminine pastel blue ensemble, featuring a soft pleated skirt and matching collared shirt.
Making the look more striking once again, she then added a cute pink tie adorned with pineapples for a splash of colour and athletic sports trainers for a grungier touch.
Leaving her newly-blonde bob in Sєxy tousled waves and rocking a dark, defined brow, Katy looked effortlessly stunning as she posed to promote the first hit from her upcoming fourth album.
The release of the sH๏τs comes after Katy admitted she has ‘given up caring’ what people think about her style.
Talking to People, the singer admitted she used to spend hours reading her followers’ comments about her appearance and clothes on social media – but over time has learned to adopt a carefree atтιтude towards people’s opinions.
She said: ‘I’ve given up on what people think about me. I have a great group of people around me that I listen to and value their opinions.’
Admitting that she only listens to the views of her nearest and dearest now, she added that the best thing about fashion is its ability to express personality – a trait that should not be removed or tainted by cruel social media users.
‘I gave up scrolling down on the comments. Fashion is a way to express yourself,’ she continued.
‘We can say we’re funny or romantic or serious or sarcastic just by how we display ourselves.’
The hitmaker has been known for her quirky style over the years, and further confessed that when she first moved to Hollywood she was obsessed with thrift shopping and vintage stores.
Her new single Chained To The Rhythm was released on Friday and has already broken a record on Spotify, achieving the highest first-day streaming number for a track by a female artist.
The song received 3,062,293 streams in its first day, according to EW.
Perry is set to perform the upbeat track at the Grammy Awards on Sunday – where she has been nominated for a whopping 13 awards over the years.
Along with her career, it seems her personal life is only going from strength to strength too – celebrating her one-year anniversary with boyfriend Orlando Bloom this month.
Proving the pair are still very much going strong, the Roar singer surprised the actor with a 40th birthday bash in Miami last month – even flying in his mother for the event to celebrate with them.
‘That’s what is so great about fashion. It’s a form of communication.’
‘You don’t have to start a smoking habit to start talking to someone. You can just wear cool shoes. It’s an icebreaker.’
The lyric video for Katy’s latest hit ‘Chain to the Rhythm’ was released on Thursday this week.
